I was unfortunate enough to have an attempted break-in in early April. It was discovered at 6.30am in the morning when I was leaving the house to attend a BNI Chapter Meeting in Citywest.

I discovered the lock on my hall door was severely damaged and upon arriving at the Chapter Meeting at 7am I explained the problem to Damian Leahy who organised for a colleague to attend my premises immediately and the door was repaired to my satisfaction by 9.am that morning.

As you can appreciate any attempted break-in or actual break-in is quite upsetting and to have the whole matter resolved in a very short space of time was very comforting and would give me confidence to contact SGD for any future repair work etc.

I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Damian Leahy of SGD Property Maintenance to carry out repair work in a professional and timely manner at a very competitive cost.

We recently had refurbishment work carried out in our house by SGD, and found them to be thoroughly professional and a complete pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They were able to line up each of their various professional tradesmen to be working at the right time on relevant jobs in the house so that no time was lost in waiting for one job to be finished before the next tradesman could start on the next job. SGD's overall project management and on-site supervision each day helped to ensure that the overall refurbishment of our house was completed both on time and within budget, with the quality of their completed work far exceeding our expectations. We were so impressed with the quality of SGD's workmanship (plumbing, tiling, electrical, carpentry, decoration, etc.) that half way through our initial planned works, we decided to increase overall spec of our planned refurbishment, and were more than happy to give exclusive contract to SGD for undertaking all additional works. Even at end of our refurbishment, SGD worked with us to ensure any minor snags were promptly sorted. The best compliment I can give to SGD is to say that we used to live in a house, now we live in a home!

Damien Leahy has handled insurance claims for St. Raphael's on three occasions following major damage in the school - damage to property as a result of fire and damage following flooding which caused extensive water damage.

On each occasion he responded immediately providing service so that the school could operate as normal as quickly as possible. Then the followed up and presented a costing etc for the insurance company. He met with me and the assessor as required in relation to the work that needed to be done. His team of workers finished the work to a high standard with which we are very pleased.

I am very delighted to recommend him and found himself and his team of workers to be very reliable and cooperative. They worked at times suitable for school and were at all times very considerate of safety issues in relation to children.
